A high wool content allows vibrancy and depth of colour and also allows greater detail to be incorporated into the design. The highly skilled weavers use traditional skills on Handlooms to weave the fabric. Kilim production is a skilled art which is passed down from generation to generation. Dyes used are environmentally friendly eco-dyes.
